Xin Sheng - Unit Spotlight: Trinity Alliance

Three Kingdoms Lancers

I built this unit based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and my love of the Wu. Storyline-wise, this is a reinforced battalion of Liao, wherein the unit commander is a huge study of Davion war tactics. Mostly because I had a Templar unassigned that came to me missing an arm, and it took like two years before I replaced it. Originally I called the unit Warrior House Wan Kuei but as time went on, I kinda stepped away from it as a Warrior House and moved into a flexible line unit. Each company is 12 'Mechs, and then one squad of Ying Long BA and two squads of Fa Shih BA.

I painted each base w/a color indicating company per which of the three kingdoms the unit "belongs" to, and later added an ink wash to dampen down the green.

Paints used - white primer, Citadel Scorpion Green, Citadel Sunburst Yellow, Chaos Black cockpits, standard array of gunmetal, laser colors.

4th Tau Ceti Rangers/Tau Ceti Hussars

Part of the "Citizens Honored Division" from the Field Manual: Capellan Confederation, the 4th TCR was a former SLDF unit-turned-mercenary long in the employ of House Liao. As of the Field Manual: Capellan Confederation, and the Xin Sheng movement, they accepted Liao's proposal to become a House unit proper. In the Dark Age/Age of Destruction/IlClan era, they exist as the Tau Ceti Rangers.

Thus far, built entirely with Catalyst plastics.
